Outbound Trunk Feature in CE10

Hi All,

Just a little question as there does not seem to be a definitive answer anywhere. In the Application Management Detail report in CE10 there is a feature called "Outbound Trunk Feature" which you can turn on or off. If I turn it off it raised our offered volumes by approx 10% but I cannot tell why.

What does this feature actually do? Any ideas?
 
When you say "CE10" are you talking about Crystal Enterprise version 10? Are you looking in the CMC (Crystal Management Console)? If so, I have no idea what you are talking about. Usually a report i.e. "Application Management Detail" in your case, is developed by a report developer....?? I'm confused

The application management detail report is a standard aspect report in CE10 which is avaialble in the CMC.

Anyway, I have solved the problem now. It is to do with duplicate activity on the application as calls are ade when a customer is on the other line (on hold)

It sounds like this is a report that goes with your call center application. This does not have anything to do with CE 10 itself.

I think the OP is referring to a report supplied by the vendor Aspect as part of their CE10 solution. Their reports are for using against the Aspect ACD.

I don't have a detailed answer for the OP but if they are in the Admin Launchpad when choosing parameter for that choice they should notice it asks a questions above the drop down for 'On' or 'Off'. The question is 'Block Duplicate Trunk Activity Records?'.

Perhaps with this information they should ask the question in the Aspect forum section where more Aspect users may be able to help you.
