Hi All,
I'm trying to set up the outbound transfer on a system and I can't set it up because they don't have access. I know there is a way to turn on this feature and can't remember how it's done.

Please be more specific as to what you are trying to do. Are you speaking of this in a Voice Mail setting, line redirection, or just be able to xfer a call to an outside party? If you are talking about the latter, the easiest way is to use link if your provider has that feature, (usally included in centrex packages). Using link also does not use your CO lines as creating a conference would.

If you find my post helpful then perhaps you will reciprocate someday by answering someone elses question.

Outbound Transfer and message notification use the outdial option under each users mbox. Go to Mbox>chng>XXX next until outdial make sure they are set for pool A or a line number with PRI. Then in the user's mbox they press admin then 8 and setup the number to transfer to. The number the caller would press is 7.
Hope this helped.
