Is it possible to allow a user occasional outbound fowarding to a dn, when a call is routed thorough a the Callpilot 100 CCR menu?

Thanks for any help.

Please allow me to rephrase this. Can a user setup occassionally a DN to take an incoming call from the CCR menu(or an internal call) and foward it to a external phone number?

Thanks again.

Yes if you search this forum you'll find numerous posts on this subject

Basically u go into services / Routes, set-up route using a line pool to the desired number, assign route to a destination code (Next option after routes) ..

Make sure Allow Redirect is set to yes in capabilites of that set ..

Then that set can just do Feature 4 and the destination code number u set-up ..

Actually DigitalMind, he mentioned wanting to do this via CCR, which would be done via CCR like he mentioned, with an external transfer built in.

The secret of Joy in work is contained in one word- excellence- To know how to do something well is to enjoy it..

Wouldn't really be occasional outbound callforwarding then though .. thats why i recommend just forwarding the set ..

jerobert,

Set up 'external call forwarding' in your system per digital mind's post above. This will allow any set with 'line redirection' enabled to externaly call forward a set.
Just trying to clarify DM's post a little if you needed it.

Be aware that external call forward occupies 2 lines. being a CICS you may not have the resources to allow more than 1 or 2 the ability
