I followed Simon's swing migration article here:
with almost 100% success.
Once the new ex2k3 server was in tandem with my ex2k server, I moved some test subjects, I mean users, over to the new server. They could access email, outlook saw the new server, no worries.
Now, they could send email within the company no problem. Anything outside of the domain is stuck in the new server's queue.
I don't have any custom conenctors or exotic settings in teh default smtp virtual server.
My internalk dns servers are working fine and I have no filtering set up within the domain, other than the firewall.
Anyone point me in the correct direction? In the meantime, I've moved my 3 subjects back over to the old server and all is well. I've got time to do this.
Thanks
