I have site A that is down and want to Use site B's Pri to send calls from site A through SIP trunk between two systems how can i achieve this? SIP trunk has been configured btwn the 2 sytems

Why a SIP trunk between the systems & not an SCN?

the principle should still be the same however
create a short code that sends the dialled number to the trunk linking the sites.

the remote system should treat the received digits as if they were dialled on switch & Process accordingly. In some cases you may also need to program a short code on the remote system to forward this call to the correct line

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Hi IPGuru i dont have SCN Licenses but have SIP licences can you perhaps give me a guide i can follow to set this up

Get the outgoing line ID of the SIP line.
Get the outdialling shortcode of the remote system (ie it could be 9N or ?)
On the local system create a shortcode of something like 9N dial 9N over SIP line group.

On the remote system on the ICR setup an incoming route that has the Line ID set as the incoming line ID for the SIP, leave incoming number blank and enter a . as the destination.
