Outbound CLID

Hello EMetroTel fans,

I cannot seem to override my outbound CLID information for DID's.

My main outgoing number is 312646****

I have a 1230 phone that has a 312948**** mapped to it as a DID. I have placed an override in the outbound CLID box in the GUI, but 312646**** keeps being sent out instead of 312948****

Any help would be appreciated. I am pulling my hair out. Thank you,

Did you get this working? I do the same thing as you described and my ID does change.

What are you sending it out on? Is it going through an FXO gateway?

You might want to check the trunk (Caller ID Options) and see if trunk caller id is set to (Force Caller ID)

PSTN providers usually won't allow you to change your outgoing CLID. Several VOIP providers will allow you to change it if you are the owner of the number.
