Outbound caller ID

hello,

I have a MICS with 2.0 software and I am having a problem with outbound caller ID.

The outbound caller ID shows the inbound DID of the CEO. To say the least, this is a problem.

If you are using PRI then you can use the OLI feature under Terminals and sets to put whatever name you want to show in outgoing caller ID.

If not then you are going to call Telco and ask them to change your customer's BTN (beginning telephone number) to one of the other numbers. They should be able to do that relatively easily.

we are using analog DID's for inbound and analog CO lines outbound.

THEN YOU NEED TO CONTACT TELCO AND TELL THEM TO FIX IT, BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY THE NORSTAR IS SENDING ANYTHING

As perry said, if the lines are analog, the Norstar has no control over outgoing caller ID.
