How can I prevent the roll over lines from showing up on caller ID? I have an office with a PRI, and I can set outbound caller ID as I wish. But with the Analog lines in our small satelite office, we are getting complaints about outbound CLID? I have not seen where to change this, it may not be possible?

Thanks

Is this a BCM? I don't think so as BCM's don't have rollover DN's. You want the PBX forum and I'll answer it there.

BCM 50 version 2.0. I am using 4 analog lines from the central office, and they roll over from the provider. I have them in pool A. But if the main line is in use, and a call is initiated outbound, it will grab one of the other lines, so it gets tagged with an un published number.

Thanks

Outgoing CLID on Analog lines is provided by the CO, not the switch. As you say, each line has it's own CLID sent out. Request the feature "Alternate Number Delivery" from your service provider. This provides the same outbound CLID on all lines (typically the listed directory number). The alternate number must be a valid dialable number for the same customer.

Is there any work around for this? I just need the main line to show when they make outside calls. Not the roll over lines. Verizon can't tag all lines he same, they say it is not possible.

Thanks
