I have a customer who has a Magix 3.0 and a Magix 4.0 networked together using UDP. The new carrier who provides the Point to POP PRI requires that we send a number that is recognized by there network. We have programmed a phone number in the number to send table in the Local PBX and outbound calls from that point are fine and are completed when dialed. However when we try to make a call from the remote location (all outbound calls are routed through the local PBX)we recieve a wave off. The carrier tells us that they are not seeing the proper caller ID from us. We have inserted the same number in the remote switch's number to send field as well as on the local pbx's tie trunks but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would ask that you do a PRINT of your PRI from both switches and post them here for use to look over.

We were able to get the carrier to add the caller id for us as long as we did not send him any digits, so the problem was resolved. However we would be interested to know what we were doing wrong or was there something else going on. Thanks for your help.
