I just inherited the call manager 4.1 and I have an NEC background. One thing I need to do is have outbound caller I.D disabled or set to a default number, how do I do this? another one is getting rid of that second dialtone when you call out. Thanks all

Calling line ID can be set in the route points i.e. gateway config, route list config, route group config. CLID entries in those objects should override any station-level CLID settings if I remember correctly.

Secondary dialtone can be disabled at the route pattern config. It's a check-box. You will have to do it for each one i.e. 9.1xxxxxxxxxx, 9.xxxxxxx, 9.1800xxxxxxx, etc.

T1PSTN, actually the phone settings over ride the RL, RG and Gateway settings I'm pretty sure. The more granular the setting, the higher priority it has.

Will changing these settings affect all stations and will I have to reboot call manager? I would like to have caller I.D disabled for certain stations. Thanks guys
