We have a number of staff that require an option to have a call routed to their cell phones when someone calls their desk phone. There are one of two ways we're considering making this work if possible. First, similar to what CallPilot can do on a BCM/Norstar, is to enable outbound transfer when a caller goes to voice-mail. The other is to have the desk phone an then cell phone ring sequentially (i.e have the desk phone ring 3 times and then cell phone ring 3 times before going to voice-mail). Are either of these options possible? We're running SCS1000 ver 5.5 and CallPilot 5.0.
Your guidance would be appreciated.

PCA (Personal Call Assistant) would accomplish this. It is package 388 and you would need the PCA ISM licenses.

It is set up so that the desk phone and cell phone will ring simultaneously. Works pretty well.

Another less costly option would be to set the zero out within their voice mail boxes to dial out to their cell phone. You would have to allow this to occur within your RPL's.

In 5.0 nortel came out with a feature called mobile extension. Basically it twins your desk phone with your cell phone. They both can ring simutaneously. Look in the features guide under m for more info. There is licenseing you need to purchase for this.
