Out Unsupported Phones from TM 3.1

Telephony Manager 3.1 does not support M2009 phones. However, some were built in the PBX. When I did a retrieve all they were pulled into the TM database. I see them when I search but I can’t select them. We are trying to replace them with supported sets but cannot delete them from TM.

Here is what was tried.

Delete 2009 from PBX them retrieve TN
Still in TM

Delete 2009 from PBX builds 2008 in PBX retrieve TN
Still 2009 in TM

Any idea how to get these phones out of Telephony Manger?

Steps to rebuild station info file (if you excperience unexplained errors in OTM with MAC’s)

Sign into pc – but don’t start OTM

Right click Start, choose explore

Browse to C:/nortel/common data/*site*/opt61c/station admin

Rename station.dat and name.dat (example – stationold041505.dat and nameold041505.dat)

Close explorer

Log into OTM

Go into station admin (should be blank screen)

Synchronize – Retrieve all

This will take about an hour and rebulid the station file in OTM with the exact data as it sits on the switch

This clears up alot of the issues I have when I cannot out something. Granted this is for OTM 2.* but should be the same.
