I've had a request so a hunt group can be put in out of service and if this is done, forward any calls to an external number - that's easy.
However, the client wants to have the ability to make every hunt group on the system to out of service with one short code or something similar (this is in case of a fire drill - so no calls will be missed). I can't think of anyway this is possible other than seperate short codes for each hunt group, which won't help them with over 20.
It's quite a valid request, as some companies cannot miss any calls. The best way I imagine will be to use a timeout on the huntgroup and pass it over to a fallback group. Is this the best way?
Thanks very much
