Hi,
I have two problems at the moment which I believe are linked in some way.
I have a Mitel MCD3300 (in the UK) with a SIP trunk to a major network provider. When calling 'some' US mobile and conference numbers the call fails to connect.
The mobile numbers ring once, then an out of service message is displayed on the Mitel handset
The conference numbers I get an automated message "The number you have dialled is invalid please check your listing and try again"
If I call these numbers from a UK mobile or land line (not on Mitel / SIP trunk) they connect fine.
I've spoken to my network SIP provider and they've suggested increasing the HOP count on the system form from 2 to 30. The max HOP count on MCD is 10. I tried changing this setting but it didn't work.
The strange thing it's not happening to all US numbers, just a few.
Any ideas?
