Out of resources when inserting attachments OL98

Can anyone shed some light on this OL 98 running on NT4 SP6 or W2k SP4 falls over giving "Out of resources" when trying to insert some file attacments the are not large ranging from 50k 1Mb or so. These documents are located on a server.

It works with no errors using OL 97 and OL 2K it will work in OL 98 if you copy the directory or files to the local PC but u notice that it is still painfully slow at inserting the attachments and appears to be at its worst the futher down the root of the network drive. i.e i:\dir1\dir2\dir3\dir4\dir5\document

The pcs are 2Ghz + with 256Mb RAM

Try reinstalling IE 6.

Thanks for the reply but I am sorry I dont see the connection... I thought it could be a problem with SP4 on W2K but I get the exact same result runing OL 98 under NT4

Sorry I also forgot to add that the mailbox reside on our Exchange servers Exchange 5.5 sp4
