out of range monitor message

I have a ultra 10 and I just brought a 15" view sonic. When I turn everything on the monitor gives me a out of range message. CAn you tell me how I can fix this problem?

find out what type of video card you have and configure.

see pgxconfg, gfxconfig, etc...
