Hi all

When trying ot start the Out of Office Assistant in Office 2000 SR-1 it comes up with "the command is not available" I've looked for a fix but have only been able to find a fix for the same problem in Office XP 2002, which unforunately doesn't apply to Office 2000.

Can anyone help

Thanks

Are you connected to an MS-Exchange server for your LAN? If not, Out-of-Office Assistant doesn't work. Newposter

Yes it is connected to and Exchange server! In the Office XP fix there was a tweek in the registry, so i'm thinking something along this line or a corrupt file somewhere.

Anybody have any ideas?

You can try removing and adding back the exchange extensions. The help files tell you how to do this. The exchange extensions are what allow you to add out of office assistant.
