out of office assistant error

I’m working on an office pc (XP Pro) with office 2003/exchange 2k3. In Outlook I am getting an error “Outlook Cant Stat” when I try to open Outlook. The second time Outlook opens fine. When I started working on this machine the out of office assistant was not available as it had been previously disabled to remove the “Outlook Cant Stat” error , well now I can’t find any place to completely disable it. The location that it is disabled is in the help/about Microsoft Office Outlook/disabled items. If I can do nothing else I would like to disable the out of office assistant so that it shows back up in the “help/about Microsoft Office Outlook/disabled items” but cant figure out how do this. Try going to Help and then select About Microsoft Office Outlook. From the help window the About window that pops up press the "Disabled Items" button. If there is anything listed in there select it and press the "Enable" button.

See if that works.
