Out of Office Agent

I have a user who just left on maternity leave. She left her laptop at work. I have a copy of her user.id so I tried logging on as her from my laptop and enableing her ")Out of Office" agent.

I did this, however, it does not seem to have taken effect. Does any one know why or what I can do? She'll be gone a few months and it would really be great if it worked.

To answer my own question,

I logged on as the user again, I went to View - agents right clicked on the agent and did a run. this seems to have done the trick.

the out of office agent need to be scheduled to run on the mail server

the default run time is about 1am and is not always set to run on the mail server .. thus it doesn't work

manually running it will force it to run then. only if the schedule is set on the server will it run daily
