out of memory

I have a customer who is getting "Out of memeory" messages when trying to import an image into a GEN field.

The dbf is LISTLINK which is 1978kb the listlink.fpt is 2.09gb The pc is a Win98 with plenty of space on the h/d.

Have we gone through the 2gb limit for win32 apps ??

I should face the problem through these questions:

Is the problem independant of the number of registers the table has?
Is the problem independant of the size of the image to import?
