Having moved Access Verion 8.0 application from a windows
95 machine to a much more powerful windows 98 machine
get 'Out of Memory' errors after a while. The old machine never gave any out of memory errors.

Win98 has a memory management problem. Are you running a lot of background processes. They use a lot of memory. Use the system tools to monitor your bases state of memory after boot-up without opening any applications. I have seen three different Win98 machines with 64MB and 128MB with only 5-8MB free after boot-up due to background processes. Dr Solomons WinGaurd eats up a LOT of memeory on Win98. Remove it if you have it.
