Hi there,

My knowledge of this system is minimal at best, so bear with.

We're running a very small and basic setup - we're using IP Office 11.0, 3 x Avaya 1408 desk phones, IP 500 v2 (I assume this is the control box on the wall?).

We have open hours/out of hours defined in 'Incoming Call Route', with each entry having the same setup - see attached image for info.

We have the Time Profile setup for all hours outside of 0830-1730 Mon-Fri and 0900-1200 Saturday.

My issue is that incoming calls during the out of hours times (outside of 0830-1730 Mon-Fri, and outside of 0900-1200 Saturday) the message a caller hears is 'please enter your mailbox pin' (or similar - it's during work time now so I can't check the actual message).

Any pointers to a possible solution would be gratefully received!

Cheers

Set your out off hours to a huntgroup mailbox or user mailbox.

Setting it to voicemail only means what it says..but it doesn’t know what mailbox to go to.
That’s why it’s asking you to enter the mailbox.

Look in groups to see if one is a night mailbox or group

Hi Snowman50,

Thanks for the quick response.

Do you mean that I need to set the Fallback Extension to a user mailbox, and leave Voicemail in the 'Destination' box?

The groups I have are MainGp and OverflowGp. OverflowGp lists #711 as the Night Service Destination. Is that what I need to put in the Destination?

Set the "Voicemail" to a short code, say *6050

Set up the short code like such:

Short_Code_rlu3dr.jpg

Where the "300" is the Hunt Group Extension.

ACSS

Dial #711 from your phone and see what happens..
Dial the overflow extension number and see what happens.

Basically dialling the overflow number will dial #711.
Look at your short codes and see what #711 is set to.
See the screen shot Dsm600rr has shown you

If that goes to your night mailbox then yes put that in the destination tab.

Enter the group number there eg : 301 if that’s the overflow number.

You haven’t told us the extension number.

A screen shot of the groups would be useful.
