Hi, we have HiPath 3000, our optipoint 500 standard phones can only save 4 messages, is there anyway we can save more messages?

thanks in advance

It could be that you have a small internal voicemail system on the 3K and it is full of messages ?
Can you get all users to delete already read messages

3k for the whole company? Some users wants to save more than 4 or 5 message. Is there a way increase the?

Thanks

Sorry '3K' is just shorthand for 3000 as in HiPath 3K is the HiPath 3000....

The 3K is not my forte but when I worked on it I found that if users were gone but left messages then those messages took up space. If you have non existing users you could delete their messages.

Hopefully someone with more 3K experience will advise you here soon.

Are you talking about voicemail messages or other messages like camp-on requests or missed call requests and things like those that show up on a list on the phone?

I assume it is the 'built in' voicemail which only has a limited memory capacity and will only store so many messages.
If old/read/unused messages are left on the voicemail they should be deleted by the end users to free up more space.
Also if colleagues have left the office their voicemails should be deleted again to free up more space
