A client out ours will give us a Username and Password to access their CITRIX Server over the internet. Our client is in the US and we are in the Philippines. We will be accessing into the Server and not through a web page.

We are behind a Linksys Router and have WinXP clients with Win2K Servers. My question is do we need any other client software or hardware to access the citrix server? I am very new to Citrix and have only worked with Win2K environments.

Thank you in advance.

You will need the Citrix ICA client on your client machines.

You _can_ use the XP Remote Desktop or Windows 2000 Terminal Services client, but it will be much slower than the ICA client over the WAN.

Check that your client has the ICA port open on their firewall (1494) and all should be well.

Hope this helps

Thanks there! Do you know if this client is FREE for download or do we have to purchase this? Would you know where to buy if ever?

Thanks!
