Ouput report to rtf format....preserving borders!

I've setup an Access report with a border around various labels, text boxes and important sections. Output to a rich text file is ok except for one major problem....the borders are missing. This is a real headache for my users (and me!) as they need to be able to edit the reports and email them with the borders in place.

Any ideas?

I know the problem you've encountered and haven't found a full solution. It's not a real answer but one way round could be to use mail merge in Word to an Access Table or Query and then use Word to make up the rest of the report. I suspect this won't work in your case if you have varios sections, but it may be worth trying.

As far as I know, DrSimon' "Advice' is -in the end- the only soloution. There is a routine referenced on these fora which does it slightly differently, as in CREATING a .DOC / .RTF file from the report preview and Crystal Reports can / Will also create an RTF file. But MS. will not 'export' ANY graphics when 'sending' a report to anywhere (except their "snapshot" format?). Surely it can'y be "proven", but it has a lot o the ear marks of colousion between MS and Segate (CR) to maintain the interest / sales of CR?
