I have been sending mail in rich text format to a friend who is using Outlook Express (v6 I believe). My messages are not being received. It seems he is receiving mail from everyone else (including from my own yahoo address.

I've checked the blocked senders list, and message rules on his computer... no entries. I also searched the registry for any entries containing my email address... nothing.

There are no spam blocking programs installed on his computer.

He reguarly sends email to me, which I receive with no problem, but when I reply or compose new messages, he doesn't receive them.

what email domain are you sending from and what email domain is the recipient in? Is it possible that his provider has blacklisted you?

I am sending from my company's domain... I can't imagine why it would be blocked. We have never sent unsolicited emails to anyone, and are running Trend Micro on our server. We've never had reports of infected email being sent by us. The domain of the receiver is sbcglobal.net

As all things are possible, however, is there a way to find out if sbcglobal is blocking a particular domain?

Thanks for the link. The DNS report provides a wealth of info, and should be a valuable tool in troubleshooting this problem. It looks like I could have a problem in the "Mail server has name in greeting" section... I'll try digging a little deeper, now that I know where to look.
