Hello,

I hope someone out there can help me with this problem. I think the problem exist in ISA, but not sure. Here goes.

I have an Exchange Server and an ISA Server, both running on it's own server. Whenever I set the user IE to pass through the ISA(Proxy Server), the attachment of an email that resides on the Exchange server does not open up and hangs up the computer. But as soon as I remove the proxy server setting from IE, the attachment opens up right away.

Any thought or solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Are the Exchange server and ISA server on the same subnet? If so, is this subnet configured in the LAT? If Exchange is on the same subnet, it should never touch the ISA server (unless your LAT is incorrectly configured). Also, in IE's proxy settings, did you check the box "Bypass the proxy for local servers"?

This is only happening on Toshiba Laptops running Window 98.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,[dazed]
