Hi,

I have just started to work on Nortel's again after 5 years working on another vendor platform. So my knowledge of Nortel is a bit scratchy.

My questions:

1/ How does OTM communicate with the PABX? Via TCP/IP port 80? Is it using TCP or UDP?
2/ Does the service that OTM communicates with, able to be reset via the command line?

We have had a few problems where our vendor advises that the only way to get OTM working again is to INI the switch.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

if the soft pty's don't talk you could have a elan problem BUT, that should not stop you from doing simple changes via otm..

99 percent of us do not use otm because it does fail so often.. once you learn command line, it's way quicker the the gui,... and it works every time
