OTMAuthentication Instance

Hi all,

I have an OTM server with three clients. One client PC was pulled-out for repair. When returned back. I get this message whenever I try to login to OTM: "Cant create OTMAuthentication Instance" and "Authentication: 800706ba".
I'm a telephone guy not a data guy, so you know my predicament. Please, help

I have done that, but still the same result.
 
You should just need to go into the OTM Navigator and go to Utilities and then Clients. Remove the client that does not work from the list of installed clients. Then re-install the client software on the PC. This will re-link it to the OTM server and you should be OK.



 
I have the same problem, I have re installed the client, and removed & reinstalled it, but still get the same response, mine is a new installation, ie, the 1st client instalation, a collegue suggested exporting the OTM proxy server, and reinstall that, but this does not help, any thoughts please?

Hello

I am new to OTM and Meridians so I have not used this forum before.

I also have this problem on a new OTM 2.2 installation.
I have tried to follow the instructions on the above link but when I go into component services on both the windows 2000 server and clients there is no OTM Application listed.

Any ideas?

Uninstall Client from the PC. Go into the server and from the main OTM page select utilities and clients. Delete that machine from the client list there. Then install otm cient on the PC. Don't forget to map the common data as a drive to share that information.
 
I have tried this and still have the same problem.
can anyone help me?
