OTM Install ...

Howdy,

I am having trouble with a OTM install. This is version 2.01. I am installing the software on a 1.8GHz Dell Poweredge 650 running Windows 2000 connected to an Option 11c ver 25.4.

I am aware of the Service Pack issue. We had 4 on the machine which we were told would cause a problems so we reformated and installed Win2K with service pack 3.

When installing we kept getting an MDAC error and could not install. Since I have found out that having microsoft service patch Q823718 is causing this error and that we need to reformat again making sure to turn off auto update.

Before continuing on, are their any other glitches I should know about? Any other patches I should not use?

If you are using ITG then make sure that you switch off the FTP server on the windows 2000 server. OTM uses its own FTP server wich clashes.
