Is anyone familiar with Optivity Telephony Manager - OTM, it was sent with the latest version of CallPilot [we have an Option 11c]

Our phones are M3904 and KEY 00 is the main line for our phones with a valid DN for example:
KEY 00 SCR 3### 0

KEY 01 is the rollover line for each phone using a DN from a block of numbers which we do not own the DN for example:
KEY 01 SCR 4### 0

Our old phones were built with a D in lieu of a 0 so that the rollover phone number would not show up on caller ID.

I was trying to make a global change in OTM to allow KEY 01 CLID Entry to change from 0 to D
it shows:

CLID Entry [Numeric or D]
If I try to make the change from 0 to D I get the following error:

Error: Directory Number Failed Validation DN 4### Not In Numbering Plan.

I click OK and get a second error:

No CPND config exists for this number

Any ideas on how to get around this? OTM help is not helpful...

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like your OTM has the numbering plan set up, you need to add the 4xxx range as a DID.Look around your customer tab in your OTM site and open number plan tab,see what you have set in there.

Customer tab? Can't find one. The AT&T installer, installed it and never showed me how to use it. Heck, he never even left the password [figured out it was the same as the local admin]

I have figured out how to download the phones, but can't find a customer tab - any ideas?

I think it is in your navigator window, right click on the system..should be under your site, and go to properties and look for the Cust tab there.

Oh I found the tab by right clicking on the site.
In the Properties for the customer it allows to define a DN, however I have several different choices for DN

Since it is the roll over line, do I choose Attendant Overflow DN?

I chose regular DN and it seems to work, THANK YOU so much for your help!
