I have two part numbers and don't know where to go to get the right discription. I'm trying to get my engineer to order a dist. copy of OTM and I think these are the two numbers I need but I don't know the difference between these two part numbers. Anyone out there have any idea.
NTTL33AD
NTTL33AE

Thanks!

Are they USB or Serial, which is which? I've searched on the nortel site and can't find a clue. What are the software TN limits, RU's ect... on the dist. dongle?

Here are the descriptions...

NTTL33AD - 5 OTM Additional Dist Dongle USB(1-299) PREM-SERV.LIC- 50000 Sets

NTTL33AE - 5 OTM Additional Dist Dongle USB (Over 300) PREM-SERV.LIC- 50000 Sets

These are new/additional USB dongles for OTM depending on your current profile count. To order as is you need to assign to an existing system. If you already have a Distributor license for OTM you may want to consider a transfer/upgrade of existing parallel port dongles to USB.

For a new license/system purchase, you will have to order the software package not just the dongles.

So that I understand this completely. Is there an OTM package I can buy for distributors to cover all my sites. One of my sites has OTM 2.1 and the other has MAT 6.67... and is upgrading to OTM. I'm looking to use this for keeping copies of data bases, generating reports, and building new data base for new switches or mass changes on old ones.
I just got back from the nortel OTM school and I asked about doing this and they didn't mention that OTM Dist. copy had to be assigned to a specific switch. If that is the case, can I have OTM installed on a switch and have the same switch installed on my copy(dist.) of OTM? I guess I'm missing the point of even having Dist. copy of OTM if I can't have my cake and eat it too.
I need pointed in the right direction. I already have the OTM software from a new install that I've recently completed.

If ordering a new dist copy is what I need would you provide me the right numbers for ordering. Thank you!!!

the dist ver. doesn't have telecom billing -reporting if you go that route.

Thats ok I won't be using the telecom billing. It would be nice to be able to demonstrate it but for the most part I'll only be using OTM to keep up with new installs and downloading maintenance customers we have.
