We have OTM 2.2, we are trying to populate the Corporate Directory I started a download yesterday and it it still running. Anyone have an idea how long it should take with an 81C with around 2500 TN's?

Shouldn't take that long, it is after all only a .CSV file uploaded to the Call Server.

Ours has around 700 entries an takes a couple of mins. In fact we don't even use OTM to build the .CSV
We have a database that outputs a properly formatted CSV file every night to a OTM in the following location:
"d:\Nortel\Common Data\M1 Corporate Directory.csv"

We then use OTM to upload the file to the Call Server and issue the necessary commands to make changes take effect.

If you watch the upload CorpDir routine running in Scheduler see there are two processes that run. One to create the CSV and dump in the directory above and one to upload. All we did was stop the upload then re-schedule it to run every night after we have uploaded the most up to date CSV. Works like a charm & a dam site easier than using OTM.

Well that is providing you have a nice database to back end it. Suppose you could always use an Excel document and manually export as a CSV and upload to OTM (we used to do that before we created the database). We also web front ended the database so we could offload what is essentially a name changing admin function off to our helpdesk staff. The database updates that we input also instruct a scrip to run and update CPND info on the call sever.#

And yes, it seems like a lot of work but we really, REALLY hate using OTM....

Reboot OTM. Its a horrible program, but there is little out there to take its place.

I've had the same problems running mine, but a reboot of OTM usually clears it up.
