Morning Chaps,.,.
Normally any changes on our Option 11 are done in OTM over the serial link.
Our OTM machine does have an extra NIC with a link to the switch,. but I know this was never configured(to me it makes sense to configure as a backup). Is there a guide anywhere to setting up the IP link?,
I know the NIC has static IP of 192.168.1.2 ,. I did a stat host in LD117 (expecting to see a 192 address)and got this, (if its any help).

=> stat host

*** Active Internet Host Table ***

Morning John

I'm guessing that your system was once (or still is?) a BT maintained system. Anyway I have a guide that may help you in setting up the Ethernet link onto your Meridian system.

I'll see if I can place it hear for you.

This procedure lets you change the PABX IP addresses without Warm or Cold starting the PABX.

If there is a Callpilot, Symposium, Tapi server etc this will cause an
Outage of these devices and keep in mind if your changing the IP well
They need to know also. So its much more involved than just this!
