We are using OTM 2.1, Option 61c. We recently came across a issue we have not experienced before. We have two different TN's that are showing up multiple times, all are CURrent, and the only difference is that the 2nd appearance has a z after the location TN, and the 3rd has two zz's. Any idea's?

i don't believe that the location field on station admin doesn't play in the programming of the phone, but just a field to have a notes, maybe someone copied a phone and set z and zz at the end because the field has to be unique for each set. double check the tn's on the pbx and the associated DN's. if the ext has a different tn then make the change on OTM station admin.

lemme know if that helped..

Just to give some more information, the 2nd and 3rd appearance do not let you edit them and OTM will not delete them.

My rule of them with an OTM system I have not been to before.

Select ALL

Global Update

Change SyncStat to NEW.

DELETE

Then retrieve all to make sure I am working from a clean copy.

Checked everything with CLI and all loks fine, so it is strictly within OTM.

I did like dulfo666 said, I deleted all entrys from the OTM and imported all new.

Since it is CURrent they will not delete.

in the pbx print the TNs for the phone numbers.
in otm find the tn without the z
change sync to new then hit delete key to out.
now remember the dbase is messed up so it may take a few tries
go to one of the TNs with the z try the one z first.
highlight and do a restore this should change the sync.
if not try the other TN with zz.
if this still doesn't chg the status do a retrieve and enter in the tn from the pbx for the phone.
once you get this to restore change sync to new and out as above. do the same for the third phone.when they are all outted from otm. pull them back in from the pbx.
check to see all the clients have the same patches installed.
i think nortel has a little program that will chg the cur enties.
