OTM 2.1 and MDR-2000 Integration

Hello all,
I am having an issue here with OTM, or the MDR-2000. I set up a node in the TBS, and configured the settings for call collection. The problem I am having is that when OTM goes to collect, I receive an error after the modem makes a connection of:

The MDR-2000 buffer is not responding to the HELLO command.

This buffer box works fine with MAT, am I missing something in OTM configuration?

When you call the MDR and connect try and enter ^VDB the MDR should respond with HE if not the MDR may be defective. Enter ^VIM,this will log you into the mdr2000, M2K>. press H for a list of commands, but ST is status, also SH ID will give the information of the MDR. I cannot recall if the MDR has always had that command programmed in it.

Yeah, I did those commands on the MDR, and they worked fine. I found the problem to be the actual modem on the OTM machine. I was using an internal 3Com USRobotics, but swapped it out for an external USRobotics Sportster, problem solved!! Thanks for the insight!
