I'm programming application on english windows with central-european multilanguage support. My program is in English, but I decided to enable change language in program through files with translated expresions. Vhen I put there file with Central-european characters, everything looks fine and all non-standard characters show up properly. But a guy who translates my program into Serbian tells me, that some Serbian characters are not showing properly in menu and other dialogs when he chooses Serbian language pack. Can I, as a programer do somethig about it, or it depends on windows what character set it chooses for my program?

Make certain that you are using the wide-character sets and that your apps support it.

how do I know if my app supports wide characters?

If you are using BCB, look under the help file for "localization." (The Enterprise Edition has some tools to help you). If you are using the free Borland compiler, you may have to look for some C++ articles on localization or buy a book.
