I'm running an old version of SCO (3.0.0) and I just started receiving a message when trying to dial in remotely...

OTerminal is disabled

Does anybody know what this is and how I enable it?

Thanks.

You need to go into scoadmin->terminal manager and unlock the tty that the modem is on. Based on your system policy your tty's will be locked out after x number of incorrect login.

i ur unix is 3.0.0 (well i hae noever hear of that version) then try sysadmsh. it worked upto sco 3.2.4.2, from version 5 onwards it was scoadmin.

to know correct version on all versions of unix try
Code:
uname -X (capital x)

also u can try 'ttyunlock' - directly
