Has anyone out there used OT professional services to conduct a CIS? If so, what the material generic or actually something a LL admin can implement? I understand a CIS as being an assessment of what the Livelink folder structures, roles, permissions, records classification, etc. should look like and not a technical assessment. Any opinions?

The OT CIS is just the OT name for a requirements document. As you stated it spells out user/group structure, folder structures, and a permissions model. As a livelink Admin you can certainly help your group through this process although it is generally work done by an analyst (not that a sysadmin can't act as an analyst but it is a certain skill set that is used to help guide a user community towards the most useful "setup" of their system). If you are hiring OT to do the initial setup and configuration of your system then this will probably be part of the engagment. If you are setting up the system on your own then you can gather these requirements yourself. I hope this helps.

Yes, it does. We just finished defining our requirements for a small user group. Thanks for the quick feedback :)
