I've seen this issue on Windows and has something to with settings on the FTP server. As some of you know you can simply add an FTP site and log/pass to OSX's Connect to Server. However most FTP sites (exept my own) will not allow an OS access to change files ony view them. Unless you use Fetch or CuteFTP (windows) What gives?

OSX ftp, can view folders but not add files.
