I had a question in the ccna exam (which i failed recently), regarding ospf. If one area number is incorrect do i need to remove and re-enter the whole ospf process or can i just edit the area in question?
Cheers Dave

You just need to edit the area in question. Normally, you only need to clear the ospf process when you're trying to change RIDs or force DR/BDR elections.

Thank you so much for the help, so i just need to remove the network in question with ie. 'no network 192.186.1.1 area 99', and then re-enter that network with proper area id defined?
