Hello,

I have configured an OSPF network with an NSSA area. There are a RIP network

RIP ----Router CISCO 3-- AREA0 -Router CISCO4-- AREA1

The area 1 is an NSSA area. I want the RIP routes to flood into OSPF network.I can distribute those routes if the area 1 is a simple area (with command redistribute). But if I configure area 1 as NSSA area, the routes are not flooded. Moreover Router CISCO4 has the type 7 External
State Link but it does not translating into type-5 external Link states. Can you help me?

Thanks

PS the CISCO routers are Cisco 2600
