Hi,

I have a question in regards to the re-election of an OSPF DR router on a L2 network. Can I change the ospf priorities on any router without causing network issues? i.e. could I make the priority of the current DR higher than its value of 80 and make one of the core routers say 100 and the other 90 so the core devices are DR and BDR? I know doing this will cause LSA updates but would this cause network interruption while ospf databases are re-synched?

Thanks,

Matt.
