R1____________ 10 Mbps____________R2 Active link
_____________45 Mbps____________ new circuit

We are running ospf area 0 and plan on making the new circuit the primary link.
My question i just want to make sure I would have to adjust the ospf interface cost on both R1 and R2 .
So traffic flows over the 45Mbps link vs the 10 Mbps correct? Both the 10mbps link is configured on an SVI.
the new link will be configure on a routed interface do you see any issues ?

you can either tweak the cost or specify the bandwidth on the interface. specifying the bandwidth may be what you want to do anyway if you're implementing QoS
