Hi there...
I have two 8600.
They are talking OSPF and everything is fine.
I would like to announce to the other 8600 the static routes of the other one.
How i do that?
Thanx

Hi,

What you need to do ( im presuming you have device manager ) is to goto your switch, select under IP the OSPF option. In one of the tabs, select redistribute, and here are options such as connected, static etc. Select Static and OK. The will do the trick, however you may wanna play with the metric etc to suit your network.

If you are using the command line:
Once the static routes are entered you just need to tell OSPF that it needs to act as a boundary between the two different kinds of routes (static and OSPF) and then that it should redistribute its static routes.

ip ospf as-boundary-router enable
ip ospf redistribute static create
ip ospf redistribute static enable
