I just installed OSPC, for the first time, on a customer PC. The application seems to function ok, with two problems. The busy lamp field won't show when users are busy and the name is not showing up on the buttons either. I can click on the BLF for a user and it calls them ok just doesn't show the above information. FYI.....same problem for the VIP View also. When I set up the BLF for this users profile I checked the box for "Display Name". I am not sure what else I need to do to get the names to display. As far as the BLF's..............no clue what is going on. That is there basic function so I know of nothing I need to do to "Enable" this.....any help would be most appreciated!

For OSPC, you can see either name or number, but not both. (Terrible design, I know...) If you configure for number, you can hover over the button, and see the name.

The BLF is dependent on being configured as an attendant console in the PBX. If you configure a station, give it attendant console permissions, and login as the station, it won't show you BLF indications.

I am logging in to the extension built as an Attendant. I know the button mapping is right because I can click on the button and it will ring the station, just never shows the BLF. I knew I would only get either name or number but I thought checking the "Display Name" was all I had to do to activate it.

Did you add the "hundreds select" buttons in the ranges you need? That's important too.

Yes they all four pages are built in the system corresponding with what is set on the OSPC. They are programmed as 41400 in CM and show up accordingly on the OSPC.

OK.......I have figured out the problem with the names, bad download of phone book. But...........when a user is on the phone I still get no BLF change for that user on the OSPC. Their corresponding button never changes color and when you scroll over the button it still says "free". I have found the same issue reported online but don't see the fix anywhere.
