I'd get the full set of 5.2.0.8 CD's from IBM, this one bit us big time in that we upgraded a server from 5.2.0.5 to 5.2.0.8 using upgrade CD's and then the box wouldn't boot into maintenance mode from the original 5.2 install CD's

You can order a media refresh from your business partner at the ML / TL you require, or I believe you can order it on the web, but you know what the IBM web site is like...I can't find the web page...

If you want to download the updates or order the update CDs go here:

then select:
UNIX servers
AIX operating system
5.2
Technology level
and pick the one you want.
for TL08 I'd go for the 5200-08-csp

a few clicks later it will ask your current level and then build you a custom download.
