Hello,

I have an AIX 4.3.3.0 server. When I run the "oslevel -r", it returns a blank result. When I run "oslevel" alone, it ruturns "4.3.3.0".

I need to show that this server is at maintenance level "10" or higher. I downloaded the maintenance package for "4330 No Level" to "4330-10", applied the package and rebooted this server but "oslevel -r" still returning a blank result.

What steps can I take to resolve this problem?

Thanks all.

Try -

Lists recommended maintenance levels:
instfix –i | grep AIX_ML

Lists filesets not installed for oslevel and recommended maintenance level:
instfix –ciqk [4210-06]_AIX_ML | grep “:-:”

or

instfix -ivk 4330-06_AIX_ML|grep not | grep ':'

I ran this:

instfix -ivk 4330-10_AIX_ML|grep not | grep ':'

and it told me which filesets needed to be updated so I did and finally got level 10 (4.3.3.0-10) to show.

Thank you very much kHz.
