I have used OSGETPRIVATEPROFILESTRING API in a program but in API viewer I didn't get such an aPI the API I got is GETPPRIVATEPROFILESTRING
IS THEIR ANY DIFFRENCE B/W THESE TWO
I AM GETTING THIS ERROR FUNCTION NOT DEFINED
IF ANY OF U CAN SUGGEST WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM

GetPrivateProfileString returns a string value to a key in an application .INI file. If this is what you want to do, that's the right function.
I can't remember for sure, but I think OSGetPrivateProfileString was the name of this function in the old Win 3.1 days...same function, new name. (parameters may have changed, so you'll want to check them out).
