I received a promo copy of Office 2010 from Microsoft. I have been unable to install it due to an OSETUP.DLL issue. So far, all efforts to fix this have failed. Even so-called OSETUP.DLL testers/fixers fail.
If it indicates that the file is missing, copy the install disk to your system and try eunning the install from there.
If it's not that, then see if you still have the old version of Outlook hanging around and uninstall it. I believe Outlook does not get uninstalled automatically; you are prompted for it.
Canadian eh! Check out the new social forum Tek-Tips in Canada. I should live a long time - I eat a lot of preservatives.
